Keep your Mac awake only while charging

Sometimes you only want your Mac awake when it is on power, and sleeping normally on battery so it never drains. Keepresso does exactly that with a power trigger.

Stay awake on power

Apply the On AC Power preset, or add a power-source trigger set to on AC. Keepresso keeps your Mac awake while it is plugged in and lets it sleep once you unplug. There are on-battery and charging conditions too, if you want a different rule.

Guard the battery

Even with a session running, you can protect the battery with battery-aware auto-pause. Pick a floor (10, 15, 20, 30, or 50 percent) and Keepresso stops the session and lets the Mac sleep if the charge drops below it, then holds off until it recovers. So a session you forgot about on battery can never run it flat.

A common setup

Stay awake on power for downloads and builds, auto-pause at 20 percent as a safety net, and you have a Mac that works hard while plugged in and takes care of itself on battery.
